Engineered flooring resembles a sandwich in structure. Several layers of wood are glued together to form the final plank. The bottom layer usually consists of specially constructed hardwood plywood. The total height of the planks is 14mm and the top wood layer is 3.40mm.
It combines the advantages of laminate floor and solid wood. It can be easily installed with click system over any old stable floor. It adds in total 17mm in the total height of your floor and gives the natural look that you want. The surface of it is already finished, so the buyer knows the final result of the product from the beginning. Finally it can be brushed and polished 2–3 times giving a long life to the floor.
